uPVC window suppliers used for energy-efficient Sussex homes West Sussex families are to take advantage of cheap double glazing in new homes.A new scheme in west Sussex that may have utilised uPVC window suppliers has allowed residents to take advantage of affordable energy-efficient homes.

The former St Giles Day Care Centre in Lancing has been turned into 26 homes for local families under a £4.3 million development, which will see energy bills reduced with features such as double glazing.

Up-to-date green technology is also used, with solar panels situated on top of the homes to provide a renewable source of energy and the ability to reduce carbon emissions.

Jim Funnell, cabinet member for regeneration at Adur Council, said: "This development is a good example of how by working with others we can achieve real results. The homes are very impressive. They are light and airy, with some great environmentally friendly features."

Donna Werbner, writing for Lovemoney.com, recently said that those who are looking to invest in property are on the hunt for houses with cheap double glazing and other energy efficient perks.
