A large number of property owners across the UK are turning to UPVC conservatories to add space to their homes, it has been suggested. Many homeowners are choosing to install UPVC conservatories in a bid to increase the level of space in their properties, it has been claimed.According to the Daily Mail, such extensions are "in favour" with many people during the economic climate, as they are regarded as one of the more cost-effective ways to add both value and space to a home. However, the newspaper has also claimed that timber conservatories remain popular, while the use of aluminium in such projects has grown in recent years. In comments which may interest those seeking conservatory quotes, the paper added that the British love of the extensions "shows no sign of abating".Ray Boulger, senior technical manager at mortgage adviser John Charcol, recently claimed that property owners may not be in a position to move at the moment due to mortgage issues, which means many may choose to add value to their homes with a conservatory.
