Tenants in Lancashire will have a say in the contractors working on their properties, such as uPVC window suppliers.A housing trust in Lancashire is looking for tenants and leaseholders to choose uPVC window suppliers to work on its properties.Golden Gates Housing wants people living in its homes to search for contractors who work on jobs such as central heating, cheap double glazing and door installation, the Warrington Guardian report.The organisation said that the initiative would serve the dual purpose of finding the likes of uPVC window suppliers and helping people to gain an insight into housing.It will also be beneficial for developing skills in decision making and analysing information.According to the news provider, a workshop is being held on Thursday May 20th between 10:00 and 12:30 BST at the council chamber in the Town Hall.Harpreet Garcha, of Belvoir Kettering, recently told The Move Channel that landlords should consider installing the likes of cheap double glazing as energy efficiency is becoming increasingly important to tenants.Posted by Tim Lloyd
