Seeking a bathroom quote? Bold colours are the way forward

Bold colours are a hot trend this yearThose seeking a bathroom quote who are unsure of what they want should opt for bold colours - a key trend this year, according to the company that runs the Ideal Home Show.Bold colours are the way forward when it comes to interior design, those seeking a bathroom quote may me interested to learn.

This is according to Rob Nathan, group marketing manager at Media 10, which runs the Ideal Home Show each year.

He said that vibrant shades were one of the key trends to emerge from the show, which ran from March 20th to April 5th.

Mr Nathan explained that many people tend towards pastel colours but that ambassadors and experts at the show are trying to promote the use of a lot of bold and striking colours.

"Oranges and reds ... in the past might have been seen as slightly passe but they are coming back into the fore now," he added.

Interior design expert Linda Barker was present at the show, advising budding bedroom designers and DIY-ers alike ways of giving existing pieces of furniture a new look by adding "design twists".
