People looking for heritage when they get a kitchen quote The worn-in look is proving popular for interior design.Property owners looking to update their house by seeking out kitchen quotes have been told that the current trend is to find items which have some heritage to them.

Simon Hamilton, director of Simon Hamilton and Associates, said that people want things which are a bit more worn-in than brand new items, adding that not everything has to be perfect.

"We have had a period of things being very pared down and stripped away, and it's a reaction to that and a reflection of a time in which people are unsettled and not sure of the future. They want to feel a bit more secure in their surroundings and I think that gets reflected in interiors," he stated.

Mr Hamilton went on to say that people seeking kitchen quotes are still wanting good quality products which are well built and will last, however, having an atmosphere and feeling in a room is also important.

His words were backed up by Katrina Burroughs, writing in the Daily Telegraph, who said that cream, beige, oyster and stone are still popular shades for a comfortable room.
