New wallpaper technology for alternative bedroom quotesThis weekend's 100% Design show in London sees the launch of a range of wallpaper which includes LED lights.People looking for bedroom quotes may soon be able to incorporate wallpaper which uses LED lights in their design.

This weekend's 100% Design show at Earls Court in London will see the launch of a new collection of an innovative wallpaper product called Meystyle.

The wallpaper, designed by Norwegian sisters Maria and Ekaterina Yaschuk, uses small digital lights to create patterns and achieve an atmospheric radiance in rooms.

Explaining their vision, the designers said on their website: "Meystyle's mission is to rescue walls from the background, integrating bold patterns with LED lights and crystals to create a deep visual experience that transforms walls and wallpaper into works of art."

Interior design has recently moved towards the trend of decorative walls including bold wallpapers, according to Linda Carson Pearson, writing for Helium.

DIY magazine Build It has suggested that more people are looking for bedroom quotes as a result of the recession.
