Cheap patio door owners should keep these shut during the summer to avoid the risk of being burgled.It is important that people take steps to protect their homes this summer, which could include ensuring that windows and doors are sturdy and secure, those with cheap patio doors may be interested to hear.Rebecca Ferrier, writing for the Corsham People, has reported that the Wiltshire Police have issued guidance emphasising the importance of keeping these shut when unattended no matter how briefly.Ron Peach, community safety inspector, reported that the hot weather often leads people to leave windows and doors open to let in fresh air."This is just what the burglar is looking for," he explained.Mr Peach added: "A burglar doesn't want to go to the effort of forcing or breaking doors and windows and seldom needs to!
