Homes get UPVC windows boost

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive has revealed that home improvements worth almost £1 million have been made to its properties in the region, as part of the body's commitment as a landlord.

Repairs were also carried out on roofing, chimneys, rainwater goods and fencing.

Gordon Reilly, the organisation's district manager, said the firm was aiming to "provide the best possible service that it can in terms of quality, efficiency, customer satisfactions and value for money".

He added: "This scheme will also help to create a more modern and attractive environment for the entire community."

Recent research by HSBC claimed that the installation of new UPVC windows can add over £4,000 to the value of a home. ADNFCR-2394-ID-19218409-ADNFCR
