UK homeowners have been urged to seek double glazing quotes to ensure that they don't suffer through the winter freeze.Homeowners in the UK could be unnecessarily feeling the pinch of the cold with high energy bills by not seeking double glazing quotes.Safestyle UK has encouraged people with single-glazed frames or UPVc windows that were installed before 2002 to seek new double glazing quotes, saying that up to £500 a year could be saved in heating bills.With a severe cold snap gripping the country, the window specialist advised people to look to upgrade their energy-efficiency solutions.A Safestyle UK spokesman said: "There are several months of cold weather to come and for homes with single glazing and older double glazing, it really is a no-brainer to get windows replaced for greater energy efficiency.
