Homeowners in south-east can now get A-grade energy efficient windowsA company in the south-east of England is now offering cheap double glazing windows with a Window Energy Rating (WER) of A to local customers.Those living in the south-east of England are now able to benefit from cheap double glazing windows that have a Window Energy Rating (WER) of A.

Essex-based manufacturer and installer, Crystal Windows and Doors, is providing Pilkington energiKare WER A-rated windows as standard, helping homeowners to reduce their fuel bills yet still stay warm when it is cold outside.

Kevin Moran, managing director of Crystal, said: "We pride ourselves on providing products that have durability, value for money and quality at their core."

He went on to say that the company has a "deep threaded desire to provide the latest products and innovation to our customers".

Pilkington claim that owners of a typical three-bed semi-detached who install A-rated cheap double glazing can save up to £341 on the cost of heating their home in the first year.

This equates to a saving of more than £12,500 over 25 years, the company explained.

Earlier this month, Sarah Beeny from Channel 4's Property Ladder told the Daily Mail that those looking for a new home should ensure that the property they choose has double glazing.
