Energy-efficient cheap double glazing boosts homeownersOne neighbourhood has had their quality of life improved by cheap double glazing.Residents on the Weir Estate have been boosted after cheap double glazing was installed in their properties, according to one website.

BalhamPeople.co.uk said that the homeowners will have the energy-efficient product in their homes, in place of regular windows, after Lambeth's ALMO, Lambeth Living, decided that a change was needed.

Dave McEvoy, chairperson of WERA, said that it was delighted that the residents will be able to benefit from safer and warmer accommodation.

"This event was to mark the end of a difficult year for residents who have put up with a lot of disruption but has brought much needed change to the estate as a whole as well as many benefits to those living on Weir Estate," he said.

Earlier this month, WhatHouse.co.uk said that the attractiveness that double glazing brings to a property, along with its energy-efficient benefits, should attract buyers to come forward and make an offer.
