Double glazing quotes: People still want eco-friendly homesAn expert has suggested that homeowners are still seeking out environmentally-friendly property solutions, such as double glazing quotes.People are yet to get tired of environmental home initiatives, and as a result there is still a high demand for improvements, such as double glazing quotes, an expert has said.

Matt Hunt, spokesperson for BritishEco.com, said that there is "still a desire" from homeowners to improve the energy-efficiency of their properties.

However, Mr Hunt said that the number of people looking for double glazing quotes and other energy-saving devices may have been reduced by the recent economic downturn.

He explained: "Maybe it's not that people are getting bored of the climate change information, it's just that they can't afford to even contemplate it at the moment."

A recent report from the Energy Saving Trust echoed Mr Hunt's suggestions, but said that people are still interested in eco-friendly house features, such as insulation and cheap UPVc windows, as a method of cutting down on their household bills.
