It has been announced that organisers at Britwell Salome's community hall have created a £45,000 plan for renovations which will be funded by grants from local authorities.

The Henley Standard reports that new kitchen, toilet and disabled access facilities will also be added to the building.

A spokesman told the newspaper: "We want to make it as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible.

"We have even had help from a team at Oxford Brookes University with energy conservation and efficiency."

Recent research by HSBC revealed that the addition of new UPVC windows to a property can add over £4,000 to its value.
