A double glazing firm has responded to a report by Which? magazine.Conservatories Windows Outlet has said that it would never pressurise anybody into getting their windows changed, despite recommending that the project should be carried out by homeowners. It came after a report by Which? magazine reported that some firms are using misleading claims to complete sales."We have many different styles of window available, so that you can pick whichever you feel will best suit your home. To reduce the cost of having double glazing installed for less, we are also offering you free fitting," a spokesperson added, stating that this will substantially bring down the cost of replacing current windows for modern day equivalents. The firm added that its windows are built to last for a "substantial amount of time", ensuring that homeowners do not have to go through the "rigmarole" again in the near future.Recently, former BBC Watchdog presenter Nick Ross backed the Double Glazing and Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme, which seeks to address complaints in the industry.Posted by Daniel Brown
