Performance Doorset Solutions (PDS) has moved all sealed unit and glass processing to its premises on Greenvale Business Park, Rochdaleonline.co.uk reports.

Tim Fairley, managing director of the company, told the website that the relocation "makes the logistical management of our production process much more streamlined, and enables us to increase production and quickly rectify daily issues as and when they arise."

He said that it has also enabled the company to respond faster to emergency call-outs, which are required after a burglary or fire, for example.

Earlier this month, interior designer Naoimh Tuohy wrote in a piece for the Evening Herald that properties with energy-efficient features, which includes cheap double glazing, are more attractive to potential buyers.
