People hoping to buy property are looking for double glazing and energy efficient improvements.Those who are looking to invest in property are on the hunt for houses with cheap double glazing and other energy efficient perks, according to research.Donna Werbner, writing for Lovemoney.com, said that average house prices have risen by £15,000 over the last year, nearly ten per cent more than what they were a year ago.The expert stated that when on the lookout for new property, buyers are hoping to find somewhere with double glazing, as even "environmentally unfriendly buyers" known that central heating, energy efficient boilers and loft insulation are worth having.Furthermore, Ms Werbner cited research from the Co-operative which found that a white cheap double glazing door is most desirable, followed by red, blue, green and brown.People looking to embrace energy efficient living need to make a certain number of behavioural changes, including leaving curtains open on sunny days, according to Emma Thompson, spokesperson for E.ON.Posted by Tim Lloyd
