From September 30th, only windows with an energy rating of C or higher can be sold, meaning that now is the time to get the most affordable windows while they still meet the current legal requirements.


A spokesperson for Conservatory Outlet, said: "It has to be pointed out that our double glazing below a C rating still present numerous benefits to your home and are without doubt a much better option than sticking to your current old timber windows."


The representative went on to say that not only do property owners need to have purchased these windows before September 30th, but they must have had them installed before April 6th 2011 in order for them to be issued with FENSA certification.


Recently, a spokesperson for Hazlemere Windows stated that the next six weeks provide a one-off opportunity to get hold of cheap double glazing.
