Original Style claims that its new 60cm x 60cm offering is one of the most expensive tiles in the world, carrying a price tag of over £400, BBC News reports.

It features a reproduction of the Kiss - a famous painting by Gustav Klimt - and is partly made from precious metals including 24-carat gold and platinum.

"People like to use fairly plain colours in their bathroom but have one striking centrepiece," Miles Jennings, of Original Style, told the news provider.

The tile is currently on display in Moscow, whereas the Klimt original masterpiece can be found in the Osterreichische Galerie Belvedere in Vienna.
