Homeowners tend to consider making changes to either their bathrooms or kitchens before any other room when planning renovations, it has been claimed.Bathrooms and kitchens are two of the places where homeowners are most likely to make renovations in their properties, it has been suggested. US expert Steve Gray, of Steve Gray Renovations, has claimed that people consider these rooms before any other when thinking about improving their home and upping its value in the process. In an interview with wthr.com, he explained that while such changes tend to be expensive, they do have their benefits in the long-term. "As you check any data or survey, it's really important that when it comes time to sell, these are the first two things that people are going to look at," he told the website. "They're going to make a decision on that house by what the kitchen or master bath looks like." It was recently revealed in research by Halifax that the average amount spent on renovating kitchens and bathrooms is £6,300 and £3,000 respectively.
