Annual meeting to discuss double glazing held today

An annual meeting that will discuss the merits of double glazing will be held today in Abu DhabiAn annual meeting held in Abu Dhabi today is to discuss double glazing and other areas of the glass and glazing industry.An annual double glazing meeting of the Gulf chapter of the UK Glass and Glazing Federation is taking place in Abu Dhabi today (February 10th).

Emirates Float Glass, the largest integrated glass and double glazing processing facility in the United Arab Emirates, is hosting the event, Al Bawaba reports.

Top executives of leading glass companies and industry experts will be attending the meeting.

Ghassan Mashal, general manager of Emirates Float Glass, is to open the event with a welcome speech.

"The fact that Emirates Float Glass was entrusted to host this all-important meeting is a testament to the rapid strides the company has made since commencing commercial operations last year," said Mr Mashal.

Keynote presentations by members of the Glass and Glazing Federation are also to be given.

The Glass and Glazing Federation is a trade association representing companies who make, supply or fit glass and glass related products such as double glazing windows.
