£4m kitchen and bathroom refurb gets underway Chorley tenants are to benefit from a major home improvement programme.A £4 million refurbishment programme is underway in Lancashire, with 400 homes set to get new kitchens and bathrooms.

Chorley Community Housing is behind the refit of the houses which is taking place this summer, the Chorley Citizen reports.

The houses benefiting from this kitchen and bathroom refit are on the Chorley Moor estate.

Tenants living in homes in the area are able to find out what sorts of improvements will be made to their properties at a series of coffee mornings being held at the Community House on Liptrott Road.

These discussions will take place on Monday May 24th and Friday May 28th between 09:00 and 11:00 GMT.

Last month, it was announced that 193 homes in west Belfast are to benefit from over £470,000 worth of external improvements, including cheap double glazing.

Tenants living in homes in the Divis and Lower Falls area of the city will see old window frames replaced by uPVC window suppliers.
